The story of ACCAD SARL began in the bustling silk factory of a small coastal town, Jounieh, Lebanon in the year 1942. A young man, whose father had inherited the factory from his grandfather, spent his days learning the trade, working with delicate silk threads, and admiring the skill required to turn them into beautiful fabrics in the family’s three-generation business. While he cherished the family business, his curiosity drove him to explore new possibilities in the textile industry.
As he grew older, he noticed a rising demand for more versatile materials like Elastic Ribbon and Lace. These materials, used in fashion and everyday garments, offered both comfort and elegance. Inspired by this, the young man envisioned a new path for himself—one where he could blend tradition with innovation.
With his experience in textiles and a desire to adapt to changing times, he set out to create his own company, focused on manufacturing Elastic Ribbon and Lace. Drawing from the skills and knowledge he gained in his forefather’s factory, he built ACCAD SARL, which would go on to become a trusted name in the industry.
